SELECTMEN’S MINUTES

Date: FEBRUARY 24, 2021


I. OPEN MEETING

Leslie Merrill opened the meeting by leading the Pledge of Allegiance.


  1. ROLL CALL

Leslie Merrill, Brenda Clark, Tammy Buswell, and Danielle Withee were present. (Millard Butler was out of State.


B. MINUTES OF THE MEETING

1. Approve February 10, 2021 Meeting Minutes

Upon motion by Danielle Withee, seconded by Tammy Buswell, it was unanimously voted to approve the February 10, 2021 meeting minutes.


C. QUIT CLAIM DEEDS

None.


D. WARRANT

1. Advantage Payroll Warrant # 16

Upon motion by Brenda Clark, seconded by Danielle Withee, it was unanimously voted to approve Payroll Warrant #16.


  1. Expenditures #19

Upon motion by Leslie Merrill, seconded by Danielle Withee, it was unanimously voted to approve AP Warrant #19.


Consensus of the Board was to transfer $250,000 from the undesignated account to the checking account to cover warrants.


E. BOARD OF ASSESSORS

Upon motion by Leslie Merrill, seconded by Danielle Withee, it was unanimously voted to approve the submitted supplemental.


II. OLD BUSINESS


  1. Zoom Meeting Update

Still preparing to do a trial before the next meeting.


Leslie Merrill requested Dead River be called and again questioned why the 2 tanks at the Fire Station Library Complex have not been removed and one big one installed,

and also questioned if Dead River removed the large 3 tanks that were present and if we would receive a credit for the propane that was in those tanks,

Tammy Buswell questioned the 3 street lights that were out in town. Joe Gray will get the Pole numbers for them to be reported.

Tammy also questioned if the water test has been completed, and Brenda will ask her relative to do the test, if not we will contact Clear Water.

A. ANIMAL CONTROL Nothing.

B. APPEALS BOARD Nothing.

C. CEMETERY Julie Brownie will be presenting a document

from the Cemetery Committee for the Board to look at and suggests that the Board consider an ordinance or policy.

D. CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER Nothing.

E. E911 Nothing.

F. EDUCATION Nothing.

G. EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS COMMITTEE Rita Albee and Danielle were present, but no new updates to report.

H. EMT/RESCUE Nothing.

I. FIRE DEPARTMENT Nothing.

J. MEETINGHOUSE Nothing.

K. PARKS & RECREATION Corey Leighton was present and reported that Basketball is straight ahead at this time with the last day being March 5th.

Leslie Merrill reported that he had stopped by and was concerned that CDC guidelines were not being followed concerning masks and the 6 foot distancing within the stands.

Corey stated he will talk with Bethany and fix the concerns.

L. PLANNING BOARD Nothing.

M. PLUMBING INSPECTOR Nothing.

N. RECYCLING & SOLID WASTE COLLECTION Nothing.

O. ROAD COMMISSIONER Joe Gray was present and reported that he is presently putting the posted roads signs and bump signs out.

P. STATE LEGISLATIVE CORRESPONDANCE Nothing.

Q. TREASURER Diane reported that the Pending Foreclosure notices will be going out March 15th.

R. WELFARE DIRECTOR Nothing.

S. OTHER Nothing.

Rita Albee questioned if it was legal for a resident to stand up the bump signs if knocked over. Yes anyone can.
