I. OPEN MEETING

Brenda Clark opened the meeting at 5:50 pm by leading the Pledge of

Allegiance.

A. ROLL CALL

Brenda Clark, Millard Butler, Leslie Merrill and Danny Withee were

present.

B. MINUTES OF THE MEETING

1. Approve January 8, 2020 Meeting Minutes

Upon motion by Danny Withee, and seconded by Leslie Merrill, it was

unanimously voted to approve the January 8, 2020 Meeting Minutes.

C. QUIT CLAIM DEEDS
None.

D. WARRANT

1. Advantage Payroll Warrant # 15

Upon motion by Millard Butler, seconded by Brenda Clark, it

was unanimously voted to approve Payroll Warrant #15.

2. Expenditures # 22

Upon motion by Danny Withee, seconded by Millard Butler, it was unanimously voted to approve AP Warrant #22.

G. EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS COMMITTEE Rita Albee and Danielle Withee were present and questioned if they could seek donations /fund raising for funds to provide items for the warming /charging station. Diane will contact MMA to seek answers.

H. EMT/RESCUE Karl Tracy reported that there is one person presently taking classes.

I. FIRE DEPARTMENT It was reported that the department is still struggling with volunteers and responding because the people they do have on board also have full time jobs.

J. MEETINGHOUSE Nothing.

K. PARKS & RECREATION Cory Leighton was present and reported that the skating rink has been built, but there is additional work to be done to level the rink to retain the water.

L. PLANNING BOARD Nothing.

M. PLUMBING INSPECTOR Nothing.

N. RECYCLING & SOLID WASTE COLLECTION Diane reported that contamination percentages are down to 5 %.

0. ROAD COMMISSIONER Present, but nothing to report.

P. STATE LEGISLATIVE CORRESPONDANCE Nothing.

Q. TREASURER Nothing.

R. WELFARE DIRECTOR Nothing.

V. SELECTMEN COMMENTS

Leslie Merrill brought in samples of the sand that was previously delivered in the year to show how unsatisfactory it was. Leslie also displayed a sample of the new delivery from Street's Landscaping and how that it was great material to work with and clean.

Jody Lyford requested that when the town advertises the next Public Hearing in the Rolling Thunder to also include the Rental information on the Community center, and the availability of the charging / warming station.

PUBLIC HEARING TO START AT 6:30

Approximately 40 residents were in attendance to discuss the 2 scheduled options. The Board listened and will schedule another Public Hearing at a later date.
