Call to Order:                        The meeting was called to order at 6:39 PM.

 

The Secretary’s Report from the June 3rd meeting was read and accepted

 

            The Treasurer’s report was presented and accepted. The Town of Stetson presented to the Stetson Historical Society with $450 from the remains of the Town’s fiscal year 2004 contingency fund.  The current checking account balance is  $3892.48.

 

Old Business:

 

1.      Gateway signs:  Production has begun on the signs.

2.      Oxen pictures: Julie Brownie has made contact with a great aunt who has some pictures of the oxen.

3.      Fund Raisers:             A discussion was held on placing some of the pictures in the SHS collection on placemats to be sold as a fund-raiser.

4.      2004 Calendars:  The remaining 2004 calendars will be sold at Stetson Days in October of this year.      

 

New Business:

 

1.       2005 Calendars: We will begin taking orders for the 2005 calendars this month.  The price will remain at $7.00, including tax.

2.      Grange Hall clock:  Selectman Don Carroll gave President Leighton the clock from the old Grange Hall, for the SHS.

 

 

 

The next meeting will be held on August 5th at 6:30pm at the Stetson Library.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 7:14 pm.
